Can I buy tickets at the door for the Expo?
Yes, a limited number of tickets will be available at the door on Saturday, October 1. However, The main auditorium where Dr. Goodall will be speaking has sold out. If you have already purchased your ticket you will receive a pink wristband. If you purchase your ticket at the door you will be receiving a green wristband. Those holding a pink wristband can expect a seat in the main auditorium with Dr. Goodall provided they are in the auditorium by 10am sharp. If you purchase a green wristband, you are guaranteed a seat in a different auditorium where Dr. Goodall's presentation will be simulcast to a large video screen. We do however anticipate that a few seats will become available in the main auditorium. These will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis immediately preceding the talk. There will be a line just outside the main, upstairs auditorium for those interested in trying for this option. Both wristband colors also allow you access to Dr. Goodall's book signing, all the other conservationist's presentations, shopping, and information gathering throughout the day.

Is my Expo ticket purchase a tax-deductible donation?
No, the Fair Market Value of the event is the face value of the ticket. However any donation made in excess of the ticket purchase price is fully tax-deductible. 100% of designated donations to WCN-supported projects goes directly to the field.

Is the Expo easy to find?
Yes! The Expo is located near AT&T Park, at the eastern edge of the city. It can be easily accessed from the major freeways and public transportation. Please click here for directions.

Is there parking at the Expo?
Yes! There is plenty of parking for Expo guests and participants. There are two large parking garages in the area. The Mission Bay Conference Center (Expo venue) has its own attached multi-level garage. Parking is $3.50 per hour. There is a second surface-level garage located one block east for $2.50 per day but this lot has minimal spaces available and we cannot guarantee its availability.

Will there be food at the Expo?
Yes, there will be snacks and drinks available for purchase all day until 6:00pm. A boxed lunch will be available for purchase for $10 at the event. Lunch will be available from 12:30-1:30pm.

Can I volunteer to help?
Yes, we are always in need of helping hands to make the event a success. If you are interested in volunteering part or all of the day please contact events@wildnet.org or call 650.949.3533.

Why are there two venues at the Expo with simultaneous presentations?
We recognize that this is a frustration for some people who want to see all the conservationists speak. This format is necessary to accommodate all our speakers in a one-day format. However, the good news is all of the presentations will be available online via our website www.wildnet.org shortly after the Expo. You may see previous years presentations by clicking here.

Can I bring my kids?
Children are welcome at the Expo, however, the presentations are geared towards adults. Children over 8 years old may find some of the presentations interesting. Children must be supervised at all times.
